The WIAA has released the regional matchups and pairings for the Girls Basketball Tournament that will culminate with the State Tournament March 7th through 9th at The Resch Center in Ashwaubenon.
In Division One, Manitowoc Lincoln receives a 9 seed and will travel to 8 seed Divine Savior Holy Angels Friday night, February 23rd. The winner travels to face top seed Brookfield East on February 24th.
In Division Four, 11-seed Roncalli and 6-seed Algoma will meet on Tuesday night, February 20th, at Algoma. The winner advances to play at 3-seed Manitowoc Lutheran on Friday night, February 23rd.
In the top half of the bracket, Valders received a 4 seed and will host 5th seed Mishicot Friday night, February 23rd. Top seed Kewaunee will host the winner of Howards Grove and New Holstein also on the 23rd.
In Division Three, Two Rivers gets an 11 seed and will travel to face 6 seed Winneconne on Tuesday night, February 20th. Also, on the 20th, 7-seed Chilton hosts the 10-seed Brillion.
Also, Kiel draws a 9 seed and will open next Tuesday night at 8 seed Denmark.
In the top half of that bracket, Sheboygan Falls receives a 3 seed and a first-round bye, as does top seed Oostburg. They play their first games on Friday, February 23rd.
In Division Five, 11-seed Reedsville travels to six-seed Almond Bancroft, while Hilbert receives a 14-seed and will hit the road to play at 3-seed Oakfield.
Both games will be played on Tuesday night, February 20th.
All games through the regionals begin at 7 p.m. unless otherwise indicated by The WIAA.
