The latest Associated Press High School Basketball Poll lists several schools in northeast Wisconsin among the best in the state.
The Kiel Raiders remain number two in the Division Three Boys rankings, with Xavier (of Appleton) third and defending state champion Brillion moving up from six to five.
Freedom receives votes. The Kohler Blue Bombers have overtaken Darlington atop the Division Four rankings, with Sheboygan Lutheran ninth.
In Division Two, Fox Valley Lutheran comes in at number four. Ashwaubenon of the FRCC is seventh.
The De Pere Redbirds stay at number one in Division One, with Appleton North seventh and Oshkosh North tenth.
In the girl’s poll, we begin in Division Three where Oostburg has leapfrogged Catholic Memorial into the top spot. Waupun is third, and Sheboygan Falls in ninth, with Xavier (of Appleton) receiving votes.
The Kewaunee Storm stays at nine in Division Four, where St. Mary Catholic is second, and Sheboygan Lutheran is ranked seventh.
Division Two has Notre Dame ranked second behind Pewaukee, and West De Pere checks in at number ten.
Division One has Kimberly fifth and Neenah eighth, and in Division Five, Lourdes Academy (of Oshkosh) is ranked sixth, with Sevastopol receiving votes.
