Two Rivers Police K9 Xanti is doing much better. An update from the Two Rivers Police Department says Xanti has a clean bill of health and hasn’t missed a beat.
The department thanked Steinig Tal Kennel, where Xanti and his new handler Sgt. Jacob Schweigl, who has been training.
They also thanked the Memorial Drive Vet Clinic and the community for the support of the K9 program.
Xanti was injured when he was hit by a car last month.
The driver who hit Xanti was uninjured.
What caused the accident in the first place has not been announced.
