After a prolonged legal battle, Governor Tony Evers has signed off on new political maps for Wisconsin, heralding it as a victory.
The maps, drawn by the Governor, are anticipated to favor Democrats and could potentially shift control of the legislature from Republicans to Democrats after over a decade.
Despite Republican reservations, the maps were approved as a preferable alternative to potential court-ordered redistricting by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
