Two defendants that were scheduled for bail hearings Thursday afternoon in connection with the disappearance of 3-year-old Elijah Vue of Two Rivers have been rescheduled for Friday afternoon at 12:45 p.m.
Seehafer News was told by The Manitowoc County Clerk of Courts Office that appearances for 39-year-old Jesse Vang and 31-year-old Katrina Baur, Elijah’s mother, were taken off the list Thursday and were provided no specific reason (s) why.
Vang was arrested late Tuesday night on a charge of Child Neglect, while Baur was taken into custody early Wednesday morning on a charge of Child Neglect-Party to the Crime.
None of the charges are official, pending a court appearance.
Elijah was reported missing from a residence in the 3900 block of Two Rivers Tuesday morning, and a search for him continues by law enforcement and many concerned citizens.
