As the search for Two Rivers 3-year-old boy Elijah Vue continues, the Two Rivers Police Department isn’t the only one helping with the search.
Concerned citizens of Two Rivers are also pitching in in hopes of finding Elijah. Seehafer News recently spoke with some Two Rivers citizens in action on the hunt by County Road O, North of Two Rivers, which is one of the many areas they have covered.
Two Rivers citizen Kathy Beverly told Seehafer News, “We checked the woods in Two Rivers already, and this part hasn’t been looked at yet, so you know, we want to cover as much area as we can. We haven’t come out to this part so that’s why we’re here today because we checked all the other areas except for by the beach by Pick N’ Save, we haven’t looked there yet.”
Aaron Ressler also shared certain tactics and things they’ve been doing in hopes of helping find Elijah,
“We’re currently walking along the ditches here to try and see if we can find any evidence,” he explained. “We found some plastic bags, there’s a garbage bag over there, but it’s been there a while, some gloves. We’re just looking for any recent evidence to see if we can find anything.”
Though there are many helpful citizens looking for Elijah around the clock, the more help, the better.
“Any help would be greatly appreciated,” Aaron said. “This is a little boy. If he’s out there, he’s defenseless, alone, scared, cold. The more bodies we have looking for him the more likely it is that we do find him. ”
