Several wrestlers from Manitowoc County will be looking for a state title tonight at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Championships at The Kohl Center in Madison.
Beginning with the girls where sophomore Angie Bianchi of Two Rivers goes for the title at 114 pounds, while Manitowoc Lincoln sophomore Emjay Neumann tries to bring home the gold at 120 pounds.
For the boys in Division Two, seniors Justin Klinker and Chase Matthias wrestle for titles at 175 and 215 pounds, respectively, and Eyan Dessellier of Kiel goes for a championship at 165 pounds.
In Division Three, Maddux Wendling of Valders is in the title match at 120 pounds.
Sophomore Max Matthias of Two Rivers is in the consolation bracket at 190 pounds, as are Kiel’s Logan Schad at 113 pounds and Ben Kienbaum at 175 pounds.
Consolation matches begin later this morning, with the Parade of Champions beginning at 5:30 p.m.
