Three illegally possessed guns were confiscated by Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies during a traffic stop over the weekend.
On Sunday, sheriff’s deputies pulled over a vehicle going over 100 mph on Interstate 41 near Lost Arrow Rd.
Four men from Milwaukee who were “headed to Fond du Lac to party” were allegedly caught with the guns, with one of them being stolen out of Georgia.
The 20-year-old was charged with OWI, possession of a stolen firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Two other 20-year-old men were also charged with possession and concealing a weapon, with one of them having a previous criminal history.
A 23-year-old was also arrested on the same charges as well as a probation hold.
None of the suspects were allowed to carry a gun because two of them were under the age of 21 and had been consuming alcohol.
Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s will test the guns to see if there are any other criminal investigations.
