A 44-year-old Manitowoc man, arrested for allegedly dealing drugs at a local bar, is free on a $4,000 signature bond.
Roger D. Burt has been charged with being the keeper of a drug house and possession of cocaine, second offense.
Police conducted a search warrant at The Deja Vue Bar last month following a complaint about a missing person and the business refusing to provide a video depicting the victim.
A detective viewed surveillance footage located in a DVR and saw Burt allegedly pull out a blue pouch from a desk, turn his back to a camera, and put the pouch back in his desk before handing over something to different people.
A search of Burt’s home uncovered multiple items, including THC gummies, glass smoking devices, and suspected marijuana in the basement.
Conditions of bail are that Burt have “no contact” with any known drug dealers or users, not possess any controlled substances unless otherwise prescribed and maintain “absolute sobriety.”
His initial appearance is scheduled for March 25th at 1:30.
