Underclassmen dominate the 2023-24 Eastern Wisconsin All-Conference Girls Basketball Team.
Four of the five first-team selections were unanimous, including Roncalli junior guard Lauren Stangel. Juniors Addison Schliewe of Sheboygan Falls and Adahlyn Hoerl of Chilton, along with Sophomore point guard Megan Hockammer of Valders, were also unanimous selections. The first team was rounded out by Brillion sophomore Amaya Brooks.
Second-team selections include seniors Claire Zipperer of Valders and Payton Grenzer of New Holstein, junior Camden Hale of Brillion, and sophomores Taavi Saeger of Kiel and Mackenzie Schroeder of Sheboygan Falls.
Roncalli Junior Bella Jacky, The EWC’s leading rebounder, and Jets senior point guard Grace Pribyl received honorable mention recognition.
The coaches also voted honorable mention for Valder’s sophomores Audrey Wagner and Zoey Siders, Kiel sophomore Maddie McDole, Junior Erietta Davis of Chilton, and Sheboygan Falls Freshman Mollie Schliewe. Mollie’s older sister, Falcon junior Addison Schliewe, was voted player of the year.
