Two people died in a car crash just south of Peshtigo this morning and one of them was an employee of Seehafer Broadcasting.
We have been informed that one of the victims was 66-year-old Thomas Dernlan, known on WOMT radio as Tom Craig.
WFRV TV of Green Bay reports the crash occurred on Highway 41/141 in the town of Little Suamico.
Deputies found a pickup truck in the median, facing south and resting against a cable barrier. It is reported that a passing motorist stopped his equipment truck on the shoulder of the northbound lane to offer assistance.
A northbound van driven by Dernlan hit the equipment truck and he was reportedly dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck, listed as a 32-year-old man from Oconto, also died at the scene.
A 73-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Dernlan vehicle was airlifted to a hospital in Green Bay for treatment of her injuries.
