The Manitowoc Historical Society will be hosting a volunteer open house and luncheon next month.
The event will take place at the Historical Society located at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc on April 18th from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. as part of National Volunteer Week.
Guests in attendance will learn all about the volunteer opportunities available at the Historical Society including youth and public education programs, archives data entry, building repairs, grounds work, and guest services.
In addition to the luncheon and guest speakers, potential volunteers and guests can walk the grounds.
Dedicated volunteer members will also be thanked for their efforts to strengthen the museum’s mission.
