The Boys & Girls Club of Manitowoc County has been the recent recipient of an $18,636 funding boost, courtesy of the collaborative efforts of 100+ Women Who Care – Manitowoc County.
This financial support, comprising contributions from giving circle members and two additional matching grants, is set to fortify and enhance the resources available for the youth served by the organization annually.
In November of 2023, the Boys & Girls Club of Manitowoc County was selected as the beneficiary of the giving circle’s November funds, resulting in a total of $12,636.
This amount was further augmented by a 1,000-match gift from the Neshotah Foundation.
Subsequently, the Club pursued a matching grant from the Richard M Schulze Family Foundation, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which champions Power of 100 – Women Who Care groups nationwide.
In late March, the Club received confirmation of being awarded the 5,000 matching grant, thereby bringing the total funds received from the giving circle to $18,636.
This financial injection is poised to generate expanded opportunities for Club members during the upcoming summer, encompassing engaging activities, programs, field trips, and nutritious meals.
