Manitowoc Lincoln blanked Sheboygan South 10-0 Monday in the season and home opener at Municipal Field.
Starter Noah Wech and reliever Seth Gibeault combined on a 1 hit shutout in the 5-inning game.
At the plate, Wech went 3-for-3 with an RBI, Gavin Lettenberger added 2 hits in 3 at-bats with a pair of RBIs, and Brayden Steinbecker went 2 for 2 with a triple and 1 RBI.
Cade Grapentine knocked in 2 runs with his lone hit, as did Benson Dickrell.
The Ships travel to Plymouth this afternoon (April 9th) for a non-conference game. Grapentine is slated to get the start on the mound.
