UW-Green Bay Women’s Head Basketball Coach Kevin Borseth announced Wednesday morning that he’s retiring after a 37-year career.
Boresth spent 21 years during two separate stints with the Phoenix. He also had head coaching stints at Michigan and at the Division Two program at Michigan Tech.
His 821 wins rank 16th all-time among all Division One women’s basketball coaches.
He earned 14 trips to The NCAA Tournament, including this past season, when his team was defeated by Tennessee in the first round.
There’s no word on when a search for Boresth’s successor will begin.
