The Manitowoc Historical Society is holding a library card free day next month.
On Saturday, May 11th, the Manitowoc Historical Society will work in conjunction with the Manitowoc-Calumet Library system from 10:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Individuals who show their library card will gain free access to the historical society’s museum and village for the day.
Aside from access to the facilities, a story time will be presented at 11:00 with the Manitowoc Public Library, there will also be a variety of make-and-take activities available for youth inside the Shadyside School as well as a Wood-fired Oven Pretzels workshop that will take place in the Sorenson House that does require pre-registration.
The Library Card Free Day is presented in partnership with the Manitowoc Public Library, Lester Public Library, and Brillion Public Library.
In addition to the Library Card Free Day, guests can also check out passes at the Manitowoc Public Library and the Brillion Public Library to visit on any general admission day.
