39-year-old Jesse Vang is pleading not guilty to charges against him.
Vang was back in Judge Robert Dewane’s courtroom this morning (April 16th). His next court date is two months from now on June 28th at 3:30 pm.
He was the last person to see 3-year-old Elijah Vue before the child went missing on February 20th.
Since then, search parties have been continuously working to find the missing 3-year-old.
The latest update on the search from Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Meinnert is that Elijah wasn’t kidnapped, but he also didn’t just walk away.
Groups have searched Manitowoc, Two Rivers, Green Bay, and Wisconsin Dells, where Elijah’s mother, Katrina Baur, is from.
Her next court date is set for April 26th at 8:30 am.
Both she and Vang are charged with chronic child neglect as a party to a crime.
Baur has also been charged with two counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
