The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department is hosting a Thursday Physical Security Assessment Training session at Jefferson Elementary School in Manitowoc.
More than 20 sheriff’s deputies will attend the session, which will last from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Families are expected to see many law enforcement vehicles parked in the school’s front circular drive the entire day.
The training is completely independent of the school district and will have minimal if any, impact on the Jefferson learning community.
