Some parts of the Roosevelt Avenue reconstruction project in Two Rivers are close to getting done.
An update from Two Rivers City Engineer/Public Works Director Matt Heckenlaible says the sanitary sewer and water main lines are about halfway finished between 9th Place and 12th Street.
The contractor will finish the work on 12th Street so the street can then be repaved, so cars don’t have to travel on gravel.
Heckenlaible says Roosevelt Avenue could be opened to full vehicle traffic within the next few weeks.
