With only a couple of conference games left, there are four teams all within striking distance of the Big East North baseball title.
Reedsville was able to keep their hopes alive by knocking off Mishicot yesterday 3-2, while St. Mary Catholic pushed their way back into contention with a 6-5 win over Manitowoc Lutheran.
As we sit right now, Mishicot and Reedsville each have 6-2 records in conference play, while Manitowoc Lutheran and St. Mary Catholic are at 5-3.
Each team has at least one non-conference game on their calendar before taking on a conference foe.
Manitowoc Lutheran and Reedsville with square off twice next week with major implications on the line, Mishicot has a home and away series with Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, who are 1-7 in conference play, and St. Mary Catholic has the same with Hilbert, who are also 1-7 in the Big East North.
