National Alliance on Mental Illness of Manitowoc County has announced its Little Black Dress Party, which is being held on May 22nd.
This new fundraising concept is an opportunity for ladies and gentlemen to get dressed up and enjoy entertainment and great food, all in support of NAMI of Manitowoc County.
Funds raised will go directly to NAMI’s programs and services, all of which are free of charge, including programming for law enforcement.
Board President Donna Firman stated that they are pleased to host this unique event that includes an auction with items such as handbags from Saks First Avenue and a house concert that includes food and drink.
Other features of the event include photo shoot opportunities, music, and pianist Marilyn Dunlap.
NAMI Manitowoc County provides monthly wellness and support groups, suicide prevention education, crisis intervention Team training (CIT) for law enforcement, and promotes public education and understanding of mental illness through outreach to community groups and businesses.
