Flooding caused by excessive rainfall from training thunderstorms is expected in a portion of east central Wisconsin, including south central Manitowoc County.
Minor flooding is expected in low-lying and poor-drainage areas.
Another inch of rain is possible through 4 pm.
Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
Some locations that will experience flooding include…Manitowoc, Cleveland, Valders, St. Nazianz, Newton, Cato,
Spring Valley, Whitelaw, Clover, Newtonberg, Madsen, Osman, Clarks Mills, St Nazianz, School Hill, Branch, Kellners Corners and Grimms.
Turn around, and don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings, and do not drive on flooded roads.
