Manitowoc Lutheran’s Elizabeth Blauert placed fourth in the Division Three long jump and brought home a medal Friday at the WIAA State Track and Field Championships in Lacrosse.
Also in Division Three, The Lancers’ Gabriel Stuebs placed sixth in the 400-meter dash to move onto Saturday’s final, and Lutheran’s 1600-meter relay of Stevie Brunner and Lilly Melhorn, Ava Stuebs and Addison Korte advanced to Saturday’s final. Xavier Kauth of Valders is also in the finals Saturday in the 110 hurdles after finishing seventh in the preliminaries Friday.
In Division One, Manitowoc Lincoln’s Tessa Campbell has qualified for Saturday’s final in the 400-meter dash after placing third in Friday’s preliminaries. Most timed and field finals will occur on Saturday, involving several local and area student-athletes.
