A local manufacturer is assisting with backlogs in Baltimore.
GLC Minerals in Green Bay is helping with supply chain issues following the Francis Scott Key bridge collapse in the Port of Baltimore.
This port sees the largest quantity of gypsum of all U.S. ports.
This has led to numerous issues for a variety of industries who value this mineral.
Holly Bellmund, the President of GLC Minerals, reflected on the situation saying “We are nearly 1,000 miles away from the Port of Baltimore, and we’re seeing the impact this event has had on the market. We’re just pleased to be able to assist and be a stopgap for certain industries until their supply chain is restored”.
