United Way Manitowoc County is once again calling on volunteers this month.
The annual Day of Action event is seeking over 50 volunteers on Friday June 21st to help with projects at nine local nonprofits.
The event will kick off at United Way’s office at 21 E. Waldo Boulevard in Manitowoc with breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by projects until noon.
Afterwards, volunteers are invited back to United Way for lunch.
The nonprofits include Crossfire Ranch, Grow It Forward, The Haven, Hope House, InCourage, Lakeshore Humane Society, Manitowoc County Historical Society, Two Rivers Senior Center, and Van der Brohe Arboretum.
