Republicans in Wisconsin say the report that former President Trump called Milwaukee a ‘horrible city’ is missing something.
Congressman Bryan Steil and Congressman Derrick Van Orden said Trump was discussing crime in Milwaukee.
Specifically, Steil said, Trump was referencing yesterday’s shooting death of a nine-year-old.
Wisconsin Democrats, including Governor Tony Evers, however, made a big deal out of the report.
The governor said the comment is just another thing Trump doesn’t understand about Wisconsin.
