The Manitowoc County Soil & Water Conservation Department (SWCD) is updating its 10-year Land & Water Resource Management Plan (LWRMP).
SWCD and LWRMP have released a public survey for Manitowoc County residents.
David Wetenkamp, the county’s SWCD Director, told Seehafer News how results will be used.
“The results that we collect from the participants will be used to support and direct important conservation programs for the next ten years,” Wetenkamp said. He continued, saying, “So your support and opinions matter.”
He also said the survey will take 3 to 5 minutes to complete and can be found online.
Names and information of participants will not be shared, and the results will be reviewed by 16 members of a citizen-based Local Advisory Committee.
If you’d like a paper copy sent to you to fill out manually, stop by the SWCD Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or contact Wetenkamp at (920) 683-4183.
