Fond du Lac Police were called to a disturbance and arrived to find a man with a stab wound in the back.
WBAY reports that the stabbing occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday June 17) in the 100-block of East First Street.
As police were responding, dispatchers were made aware an individual may have been stabbed.
The victim, a 41-year-old man, and the suspect, a 45-year-old man, both stayed on the scene.
While investigating, the Fond du Lac Officers located a pair of scissors, which was determined to be the weapon used.
The victim is being treated for his injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
The suspect was arrested without incident, and it is believed that alcohol played a role in the crime.
He is being held on counts of Recklessly Endangering Safety and Substantial Battery.
