The Green Bay Police Department has given reminders to car owners to prevent auto thefts.
A post on the Green Bay PD’s Facebook page warns drivers to lock their cars and to keep valuables out of sight.
Along with the post was a security camera video of three suspicious people checking for unlocked car doors. This incident took place on Monday night (June 17) in the area of Wirtz Avenue.
No successful break-ins were reported, but that does not diminish the severity of the issue, as these types of crimes are more common this time of year.
