There’s a new treasurer for Manitowoc County.
Kathy Reissmann was appointed to fill the term left by now former County Treasurer Amy Kocian.
Kocian took another financial job within the county and announced several months ago that she was resigning.
County Board President Tyler Martell told the County Board of Supervisors last week that Reissman is very qualified, having worked for the village of Mishicot, and came with the recommendation from County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer and the County Finance Committee.
Reissmann’s official first start date is July 2nd.
