The Sheboygan Theater Company is gearing up for its 91st season and has announced its collaboration with local theater professional Zachariah Stearn for two audition workshops in July.
On Wednesday, July 17th, Stearn will conduct an adult workshop for those who are 17 and older from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
On Thursday, July 18th, he will host a session for children aged 9 to 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Stearn is aiming to simplify the audition process to be a confidence booster for the aspiring performers.
Participants will learn the intricacies of auditioning, including crucial tips for slating, song performance, and proper etiquette.
The workshops will assist attendees in selecting the ideal audition pieces and attire, as well as cultivating the right mindset for success.
Pre-registration to attend this event is required online on the STC Website.
The adult and kid workshops are $35 each, though if you register before or on July 7th or 8th, there is a $10 promo code available.
The workshops will be at Horace Mann Middle School in the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre in Sheboygan.
