The Sheboygan Police Department is looking for a man they believe to be responsible for a Sunday morning shooting (July 7th).
Officers were dispatched to the area of North 10th Street and Michigan Avenue at around 2:00 a.m. on a reported shooting.
A 27-year-old man was found to be suffering from a single gunshot wound and was taken to a Milwaukee area hospital for treatment.
Police then began searching for 32-year-old Jalen M. Ringel, who has not yet been located.
Ringel is a black male who stands 6’ 1” tall and weighs around 200 pounds.
In a recent mug shot, he was bald, with a mid-length black beard.
He is believed to be in possession of a handgun, so anyone who sees him is encouraged to call the Sheboygan Police Department immediately.
