A fatal crash on Marquette University’s campus has been attributed to a drunk valet driver using a borrowed car.
Formal homicide charges were filed against 23-year-old Marco Gomez yesterday.
Police report that Gomez, employed as a valet at a Milwaukee hotel, took a guest’s Toyota and crashed into another vehicle on campus, resulting in the driver’s death.
Gomez was allegedly intoxicated at the time and is currently held on a $100,000 bond.
