A Manitowoc man has been arrested and charged with Attempted Homicide following a stabbing.
Last week on the 4thof July, The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, Two Rivers Fire Department, and Mishicot Ambulance Services were dispatched to a residence in the Two Rivers Township on reports of a female who had been stabbed.
Upon their arrival, they found two individuals with stab wounds.
The victim, a 51-year-old female, was found in the backyard with multiple stab wounds and other injuries.
The suspect, 62-year-old Calvin C. Eis, was found in the house with a stab wound that was determined to be self-inflicted.
Both were transported by ambulance due to their injuries.
Eis, following receiving treatment, was arrested and transported to the Manitowoc County Jail.
He has been charged with Attempted Homicide/Domestic Violence Offense, Aggravated Battery Domestic Violence Offense, Strangulation/Suffocation Domestic Violence Offense, and Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic.
On Monday (July 8), he attended his bail hearing, which was set at $500,000.
