A wrestler from Manitowoc helped lead a contingent of Wisconsin grapplers at the National Duals meet last month.
Manitowoc Lincoln’s Emjay Newmann was the 118-pound wrestler on Team Wisconsin, which finished second in the girls’ competition at the National Duals meet in Indiana in June.
Her team competed against some of the best wrestlers in the nation, beating the likes of Texas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Missouri, Ohio, and California.
Pennsylvania ended up taking home the gold.
