The SS Badger will be sailing again.
An announcement on Facebook from Lake Michigan Carferry says cross-lake service will get underway at 9:00 this morning from Ludington, Michigan.
Both the American Bureau of Shipping and the US Coast Guard have given their approvals for the ship to return to service after the Badger stopped sailing for two days due to an electrical issue that was found while sailing from Manitowoc to Ludington.
Lake Michigan Carferry Spokesman Thom Hawley says they again sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to passengers and that engineers have worked around the clock to complete the repair.
The ship will return to its normal sailing schedule. More information can be found online at www.ssbadger.com.
