Lily Hawkinson, the Eau Claire County woman who fired a gun at her boyfriend over unfinished taxes, will not serve jail time.
Prosecutors announced yesterday that Hawkinson pleaded no contest to charges of negligent handling of a weapon and disorderly conduct, with more serious charges being dropped.
According to police in Fall Creek, Hawkinson was intoxicated when she fired two shots near her boyfriend in April.
He was not injured and fled the house.
If Hawkinson remains out of trouble for the next two years, the charges may be dismissed entirely.
