The Lighthouse Recovery Community Center members and staff will participate in an Emotion Memory Pattern Release (EMPR) workshop.
On August 6 and 7 the founder of EMPR, Manna Abraham, will be in Manitowoc to lead the workshop.
EMPR is a six-step rapid trauma release program that allows individuals to process and heal from trauma without the need to relive their experiences.
Christma Rusch joined WOMT’s A Light of Hope radio show and explained, “Her focus, specifically, will be working with individuals in the human service field who can experience vicarious trauma, so law enforcement, healthcare workers, and human service workers.”
Additionally, anyone interested in the workshop, not just those in the human service field, is encouraged to sign up for the event.
The link to sign up and more information on EMPR and the healing benefits it offers can be found on the Lighthouse Recovery Community Center’s Facebook page.
