The Manitowoc County Foster Care Program has announced the date for its next informational session.
Those interested in learning about the foster care process are invited to the Franklin Street Room in the Manitowoc Public Library on August 16th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Members of the Foster Care Program will give information on how to get involved in foster care, the financial benefits of doing so, and what training and support systems are in place for foster families.
Families, retired individuals, and couples are especially encouraged to attend, as parents are needed for children ranging in age from birth to 18 years old.
Pre-registration is not required, but you can get more information by calling the Manitowoc County Foster Care Program at 920-683-4230 or by emailing FosterCareProgram@ManitowocCountyWI.gov.
