Several employees at the downtown Hyatt Regency Hotel have been terminated after the death of 43-year-old Dvontaye Mitchell outside the establishment last month.
Security guards at the hotel allegedly restrained Mitchell after escorting him from the premises.
Police found Mitchell unresponsive upon arrival, and he was later pronounced dead.
Aimbridge Hospitality, the hotel’s operator, stated that some employees violated policies and procedures on the night of the incident.
