The second suspect involved in a deadly shooting in downtown Madison has pleaded guilty to multiple weapons charges but not to homicide.
Keyonta Blaney entered his guilty plea on Monday, admitting to various firearms offenses, including possession of a gun as a felon, related to the June 18, 2023, shooting on East Dayton Street that resulted in the death of Nicholas Taylor-Washington.
Authorities believe the shooting was gang-related.
Blaney is the second of three suspects to plead guilty in this case, with the third suspect scheduled for a court hearing on Friday.
