A healthcare center in Sheboygan County may be getting some serious financial help soon.
WHBL reports that the Sheboygan County Board is looking over some proposals that would allocate nearly $4 million to Rocky Knoll over the next five years.
One big proposal is the replacement of the inefficient steam system in the boiler room, which is over 50 years old.
The new, low-maintenance system would cost around $908,000 to install.
Other proposals would result in a new chiller unit, an HVAC control system, parking lot repairs, and the remodeling of the residential building and office spaces.
The Healthcare Center Committee of the County Board is currently looking over the requests, which will need their approval and the approval of the full board.
