Authorities are seeking answers after discovering a man’s car submerged in Lake Michigan over the weekend.
Oak Creek Police reported finding Robert Morales’ vehicle approximately 50 feet from the boat launch at Bender Park, submerged in eight to ten feet of water.
The initial call about the car came in just before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.
It remains unclear how the car ended up in the lake or how it traveled so far out.
The Medical Examiner’s office has not yet determined an official cause of death.
