Leaping out of the children’s book genre, Plymouth author Karen Meyer makes her debut into the world of fantasy with the release of “The Knight and the Evil Magician” as her second book to debut during her 10th year as an author.
Published through Pedal Down Promotions of Manitowoc, Meyer’s 17th book provides a riveting medieval knight storyline with a clash between good and evil serving as the centerpiece of the narrative, with her grandson adding the illustrations via his hand-drawn sketches.
Meyer’s grandson, Vincent, provided sketches of a medieval fantasy world filled with knights, kings, and magicians, making for a vivid backdrop.
Over the past decade, Meyer has excelled in the children’s book genre since releasing “Hootch” nine years ago.
In April, she released the children’s book, “Papa Bear’s Fence,” and now she has her eye on spreading her wings into different genres.
