Sheboygan Police are investigating a death in Lake Michigan.
Officers were called to an area south of South Pier for an unresponsive surfer found in the lake.
A passerby saw the 52-year-old Wrightstown man, who was still attached to the surfboard, in the lake and was attempting to pull the man out of the water while calling 911.
The passerby started to perform CPR until officers arrived, but they were unsuccessful.
Sheboygan Police finish by saying the cause of the death is still unknown at this time but there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
