It’s going to be another week before we find out what’s next for the mother of missing 3-year-old Elijah Vue.
Ann Larson, the lawyer for 31-year-old Katrina Baur asked for more time during her court hearing this afternoon because there are two issues in the case that need to be looked over.
Baur was up for a plea hearing today, but that’s now been set for next Friday (July 26th) at 1 pm.
Elijah has been missing from Two Rivers since February 20th after he was reported missing by Baur’s boyfriend, 39-year-old Jesse Vang.
A criminal complaint alleges that Baur dropped off the 3-year-old to Vang where he was going to teach him “how to be a man.”
Baur is facing a charge of chronic child neglect and two counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
She also faces a charge of neglecting a child.
It’s been almost 5 months since Elijah has gone missing and there’s still a $40,000 reward for information in finding the child or for an arrest and conviction in his disappearance.
