A 44-year-old Manitowoc man arrested at a local business for causing a disturbance appeared for a bail hearing in Manitowoc County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.
Robert E. Anspach is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia along with three counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Police responded to The Advance Auto Parts store on Calumet Avenue Wednesday morning after Anspach’s mother called saying that her son (Anspach) had been acting erratically.
Police found him a short time later with a large trash bag and in possession of a baggie containing a white crystal substance, confirmed to be meth.
Anspach allegedly threatened to kill people, but no one was hurt.
Bail was set at $5,000 recognizance with conditions that Anspach not possess any controlled substances and maintain “absolute sobriety.”
His initial appearance is scheduled for August 5th at 1:30.
