Things are coming together for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
The Grand Chute-based Milwaukee Brewer High A affiliate entered the all-star break on a six-game win streak, sweeping the West Michigan White Caps last week.
Over the unbeaten stretch, the Rattlers’ defense has been stellar, only allowing 10 runs, and notched three shutouts.
Offensively, Wisconsin has plated 31 runs over the last six games and 57 over the last 11 games.
The Rattlers will try to keep that momentum going this weekend as they travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for a three-game set against the Kernels.
Wisconsin enters the series atop the Midwest League’s West Division, 5.5 games ahead of Cedar Rapids, and on top of the entire league, 5 games ahead of the Lake County Captains.
