The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is giving people a chance to spend the night on the USS Cobia.
The Submarine Sleepover for Grown-Ups and Family Overnight Program will offer a unique experience for both adults and families.
It will give the rare opportunity to explore and enjoy the World War II-era submarine that’s usually reserved for scout troops and Airbnb guests.
The sleepover for grown-ups includes an extended tour of the Cobia, a drink ticket for the Sub Pub, a submarine-themed movie, an after-hours exploration of the museum, and a night aboard the Cobia.
The program costs $75 a person with a discount for Wisconsin Maritime Museum members. Only 40 people will be allowed on.
That program runs August 2nd and 3rd.
The Family Overnight Program allows a group to learn the process for diving the submarine, discover the mechanics of firing torpedoes, and gives you a chance at aiming the deck guns.
The program costs $50 a person and takes place on August 17th.
