The Chamber of Manitowoc County is teaming up with UW Green Bay – Manitowoc Campus to teach children the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, better known as STEM.
The event is known as STEM Fest and will be held at the campus, located at 705 Viebahn Street.
Students in 4th and 5th grade are invited to attend to experience how STEM is being used in local businesses and how what they learn in school can be used in real-life scenarios.
Several local businesses will be on hand to highlight the wonderful things they are doing and to connect with the future workforce.
Chamber member businesses are invited to participate by setting up a table (booth) with STEM-related demos or hands-on activities for students.
Registration is required to volunteer and display your activity/ or experiment at a table.
